Behm/Schmidt m/s/c to approve bills as presented. Roll call vote – all yes.
Liberty Bank is asking $25,000.00 for the store. Not worth it. We will wait and see what happens next.
Covid-19 rules keep changing. Wondering how our Ambulance Dept. is holding up.
Ball park surfacing complete. Fencing to be completed on the 18th.
Trustee Dombrowski submitted a phase 1 proposal for ditches and culverts in the Corazalla Subdivision.
Need to start getting cost estimates and repairs done before road deteriorates entirely.
Birchwood Park restocking complete. Trustee Schmidt is getting another estimate for parking lot and
pathway from shelter to pond.
President Sprague spoke with Village Attorney in regard to enforcement of ordinances and fee
assessments. We need to get set up on the Court dockets for both counties and have our ordinances
written correctly so they are enforceable and list the amounts of fees to be assessed. Initial set up
would cost approximately $1,000-1,500.
Reports were received from the portable speed sign. A large percentage of traffic is in violation.
The next step is to report to the County so streets can be monitored.
Committees were discussed and realigned with members assigned as listed on attachment.
A letter was received from the Tavern League asking for a decrease in fees for liquor licenses due to
the lack of business from Covid-19. We will wait until the next meeting to see how regulations
change.
Open Book will be May 27, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Board of Review will be June 3, 2020 for
the same time period.
Next meeting will be postponed until Tuesday, May 26th, because of Memorial Day on Monday.
Many ATV-UTV violations are being observed. Residents need to remember that it is a privilege
to use these vehicles and Village streets and this can be rescinded at any time.
Receipts were reported for April.
Schmidt/R. Resch m/s/c to adjourn at 8:45 p.m.
